At Able To Wellbeing, we understand that choosing a health care provider can be a difficult decision. That's why we are committed to providing the highest level of care and support to our clients and their loved ones. Our nurses and care workers are trained and operate within their scope of practice to ensure high home care and community care. We will work in partnership with you to deliver the homecare and community services you need.
We deliver services through home care packages, NDIS, brokered through other providers and fee-for-service (private). For more information on how services can be funded, please see our 'payment & funding' menu.
Our pricing is transparent and reasonable. We strive to charge within either the national home care packages averages or the NDIS, ensuring to keep our rates reasonble. The national home care pacakges average costs for a care worker is $73 per hour, for a nurse, $125 per hour and travel kilometrs $1.30 per km.

Personal Carer: $73 per hour (GST not applicable). Rate applicable for Monday to Friday only from 6:00am to 6:00pm. Rates for other times is in the 'documents' tab.
Nursing: $119.82 per hour (GST not applicable). Rate applicable for Monday to Friday only from 6:00am to 6:00pm. Rates for other times is in the 'documents' tab.
Costs for travel time will be quoted upon receiving and enquiry for services.
Social support kms charged at $1.15 per km.
Our registered nurses provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, medication management, catheters, stomas, PEGs, palliative care. and continence management. We also develop care plans as part of an assessed need and to assist with accreditation requirements. You may need this upon leaving hospital, or as part of the funding you receive. Our nurses provide nursing home care and community care that is tailored to your needs.
Whether you have come out of hospital and need nursing assessments and referrals, or or you have funding through the govnerment for care (e.g. home care packaage, NDIS), we are ale to complete nursing assessments to suit your needs. This includes but is not limited to comprehensive / baseline assessments, mental health assessments, cognitive / dementia assessments, continence assessments, malnutrition assessements, diabetes assessments, wound reviews, smoking assessments, alcohol screening, skin integrity assessments and many others.
If you need assistance with taking your medications, or you need us to administer your medications, we are able to support you with this need. Our nurses and care workers will liaise with your doctor as needed to ensure your safety and wellbeing.
Our nurses and care workers provide personal care services to support you in your health and hygiene as part of your homecare. We can support you with tasks including showering, dressing, grooming and toileting. We will ensure your comfort and dignity is maintained and encourage a wellness and reablement approach.
Tailored support covering all aspects related to incontinence including continence assessments, linkages with suppliers and trial items.
Our nurses and care workers provide you with support to access the community so you can continue to live the life you choose! Our home care and community service can assist you with paying your bills, checking the mail, going to the library and going shopping. Or you may want to do something more social such as go for a walk on the beach, eat a meal at a pub or restaurant or going to a cafe. Anything you need outside the home we can suport with.
Respite care supports your carers to have a rest for a short period of time. It can include receiving a variety of other services during the respite services. Carers often forget to look after themselves when they are caring for others, but having the option of homecare respite enables carers to take a break to support their own health and wellbeing, so they can come back to their carer responsibilities energised and recharged.

We understand there are times you may just need a check in or where you may not be feeling your best and just need a welfare check. Our nurses and care workers can work with you and your loved ones to come up with a plan that will support your home care and community access.
Sometimes, you may need assistance with preparing a meal and we are able to assist you with this. This could involve cooking a meal, or heating up a pre-made meal. We can also assist to feed you, ensuring your saety.
Falls are one of the largest contributors to adverse outcomes for ageing people and for others, can result in injury. Ensuring your home is clean can asssit with reducing falls risks as well as your general health and wellbeing.
Transports involve taking you from one point to another. It is different to social supoprt, where social support involves remaining with you throughout the service delivery. Instead, transport as previously mentioned, is bringing you to a location and leaving you ther while you do what you need. A return pick up service can be arranged if this is needed.
