Outside of work, El loves to explore waterfalls and waterholes, and go camping, fishing or water skiing/wake boarding. El may also be found at a nice restaurant, bar or cafe! As much as El likes to be out and about, she also values time to just "chill" by sitting on the hill at home with a beverage and watch the sun go down and admire the colour of the sky whilst listening to music. El also enjoys in her downtime watching documentaries and movies. El likes to play sports and currently plays hockey and supports a local football (soccer) club. As much as El likes to play sports, she also enjoys watching the NRL and AFL as well as the V8s. Other questions El has been asked by clients have been answered below:

  • Favourite alcohol: whiskey
  • Dream job: Doctor and philanthropist
  • Least favourite household chore: cooking and cleaning up the mess! Oh, and doing all the laundry washing, folding and ironing (which I don't do much of lately!)
  • First childhood memory: sitting down rolling a can of something with my sister and being mesmerised by how it moved as the fluid shifted. I think it was a small can of fuel for the lawnmower!
  • Favourite pub and pub meal: that's a tough one! The two places I liked the most and who had the best steaks I no longer frequent due to personal reasons. My favourite meal is steak, salad and chips with a good sauce! But Pistachi (Pist4cchi) is one of my favourite places to eat!
  • My signature dish: I have a few 1) honey mustard pasta 2) blue cheese sauce and honey mustard sauce 3) keto mince pattie
  • Favourite water hole: it was Davies Creek and trekking into areas other people don't usually go! But, through my adventures I'm finding new places!
  • Do you have a quote you live by: In the past 12 months and my journey in my personal life, I have many! I came across Dostoevsky who has some really good ones that can be resonated with. Whilst they seem grim, I look at these from the positive view point which can be empowering: 1) "To go wrong in one's own way is better than to go right in someone else's". This seems grim! But again I look at the positive perspective. It is the learning and teaching to just be yourself and not prioritise other people at a sacrifice to yourself. Doing your own thing and being wrong can be more empowering as you can learn and grown, instead of simply following someone else's path or their needs and wants which may not fulfil you. 2) "Your worst sin is that you have destroyed and betrayed yourself for nothing". Whilst this also seems grim, I choose to look at this from a positive perspective - a reminder to always be who you are and not to change or adapt for others as you may be adapting for nothing! Just be who you are - don't adapt to anyone as they may not value you or be willing to do the same!
  • Cocktails or beer: Beer. Cocktails only in small doses!
  • Place I want to go: Scotland, but I also want to do the Gloucester cheese rolling event as a participant :-) I couldn't think of anything more fun! Then I have a few other events after that I need to do!
  • Love language: I'd like to say sarcasm and fun if these were a type! Definitely sarcasm! But, for the actual love types, I used to be acts of service but through lessons learnt from the past and amazing clients sharing their experiences, I would say I am very much now a quality time and physical touch as my love language.
